Why Telashay
The same cold press, run by the same family, since 1965 — a single mill that has never changed hands.
A process followed for sixty years by the people who built it is a different thing from a process written down last quarter to meet a certification. Every step on this page — the temperature ceiling, the seed sorting, the resting time — is inherited, not invented for a label. That is harder to fake than a claim, because it shows up in decades, not paragraphs.
A single cold press in 1965. The founder’s sons holding the same temperature through the 1980s and 90s as the rest of the industry moved to heat and solvents. A third generation writing the process down formally, and its oil now tested at an independent, NABL-accredited laboratory.
